Allegheny Hills Golf Course History
In 1960, Henry (Hank) Bruckert realized his dream of one day turning farmland into a golf course when the idea of Allegheny Hills came true. This was the first course open to the general public in our area.
The course was purchased in 1990 by one of Hank's sons, Conrad. In 1995, the Golf Course was expanded to 18 holes and is modeled after a Scottish links course with 9 holes out and 9 holes back in.
Allegheny Hills Golf Course remained in the Bruckert Family for a number of years and was successfully operated by Conrad and his wife, Donna, who managed the 19th hole until 2011. At that time, ownership was transferred to Allegheny Hills, LLC. The new owners are committed to continuing the tradition of excellence established over 50 years ago by the Bruckert Family.
